With an investment starting at 200,000 reais, you can become part of a network that has over 500 stores
After surpassing 500 physical stores spread across the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais, the pharmacy chain Farma Conde announces its brand expansion through a franchise model. With this new venture, the brand makes its debut at the ABF (Brazilian Franchising Association) Expo, held from June 26 to 29, at the Expo Center Norte in São Paulo.
The announcement of the new business format presents an opportunity not only for new investors betting on the pharmaceutical sector but also for independent pharmacies to become part of a solid and growing market network. The decision to launch the franchises has been in the works since 2018, where the model was tested with licensed stores. The goal is to expand nationwide.
“We are thrilled with the results we have achieved so far, and based on this, our expectation is to close the year with an additional 40 units,” says Manoel Conde Neto, president and founder of the brand, after a consistent pilot project.
According to Éder Souza Luz, head of franchises at Farma Conde, the idea is to offer franchisees a range of benefits. “Exclusive brands, logistics, store management, commercial conditions, marketing, training, and qualification are part of our proposal,” says Éder.
The investment for those who want to open a new unit is around 200,000 reais. The franchise fee for already established pharmacies is 30,000 reais, and 50,000 reais for new stores. The average monthly profit ranges from 8% to 12%, and the return on investment is expected within 24 to 36 months.
Today, Farma Conde employs 6,000 people throughout its network, bringing 31 years of experience since the first unit opened in 1993. In addition to its consistent growth, Farma Conde stands out for its strong social commitment. The network carries out over 3,000 health actions annually, offering blood glucose tests, blood pressure checks, and free pharmaceutical services.
“The journey of Farma Conde is an example of entrepreneurship and solidarity, showing that with determination and a focus on human needs, it is possible to grow and make a difference in society,” concludes Vice President Claudia Conde.
